Commute, video, 11 min. 15 sec.
A layering of my subway ride home from work five times creating an ambiguity of space and time that is immanent—but not readily present—in the actual commute; an atemporal synchrony of experience, more concerned with the journey as it exists in the present than a future destination. Music for this video was sourced from a favourite commuting podcast by Liz Berg from listener-supported free-form radio WFMU featuring music she selected from the amazing Free Music Archive.
